ORGANIZATIONAL MISSION
Key to Karma is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to offer community members the opportunity to volunteer and give back to the community while empowering the community and its members through acts of kindness and generosity. Key to Karma’s ability to accomplish this mission will result in the promotion of community awareness, community empowerment, and community development.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Key to Karma is based on the principle of “Karma.” The organization understands that current actions have an influence on the future. Good deeds contribute to good karma while creating a positive and lasting effect on both contributors and receivers. Volunteers benefit by assisting the organization and in return they’re generating good karma for themselves. The Receivers will include community members in need, homeless persons, elderly persons in need, vulnerable children and adults, agencies/organizations that support the community and need assistance, students, crime victims, and other persons with an identifiable need for assistance. Key to Karma handles identifying, locating, and planning events/good deeds for members of the community; making it easy for people to show up and volunteer. We make it easy to generate good karma while helping the community.
